Botox For Fine Wrinkles In York, PA

Laughing, frowning, smiling and raising eyebrows for years might show up as fine wrinkles on your face and if ignored initially, they might turn out to be deeper lines. At times the wrinkles and frown lines show up premature and make you look years older than your actual age. However these signs of aging are not irreversible any more. With Botox, it’s possible to get back your younger looking skin and flawless appearance with Botox! If you are looking to recapture your youth, there is Botox treatment in York, PA that can offer an effective yet feasible solution.

How Does Botox Treatment In York, PA Work For Fine Lines?

Botox injections bind the nerve-ends and prevent secretion of chemical transmitters that make the muscles over-active. They also release the strain from tiny facial muscles that cause frown lines, brow furrows and crow’s feet. The contents of Botox slowly releases muscle tension and prevents its contraction.

Owing to its quick and persistent results, Botox York PA treatment has gained huge popularity among people looking for a long term solution from non-invasive face-lifting methods. However, to get best results, one must get the treatment done from skilled and experienced professionals at a reputed clinic.

Botox Treatment Methods Discussed

Botox York PA: Botox is a specialized treatment process for fine lines and deep-set wrinkles. It targets the over-active facial muscles and soothes and relaxes them. The effect shows up in smoother and suppler skin. Botox corrects a number of aging signs and spots including uneven eyebrows, chin dimples, horizontal expression lines on forehead, frown lines and crow’s feet effectively. When choosing Botox to get back your natural grace and beauty, make sure you use a reputable and trusted business.

Wrinkles are generally caused by the failing elasticity in the skin as we age, but there are times when wrinkles and fine lines are caused by muscle contractions, such as with crows’ feet and frown lines. Botulinum Toxin, otherwise known as BOTOX®, is the most popular non-surgical cosmetic procedure in the world to reduce and smooth the fine lines and wrinkles that can make a face look older. Here at Bella Medspa we offer the best priced BOTOX treatments in the region. BOTOX® treatments are used to reduce certain facial lines such as:

• crows’ feet (outer corner of eyes)
• frown lines (corners of mouth)
• smoker’s lines (upper lip)
• bunny lines (around and on the nose)
• marionette lines (surrounding the chin)
• vertical lines between eyebrows
• horizontal lines across forehead
• dimpled or “pebbled” chin

The process is simple: a miniscule amount of BOTOX® solution is injected into the muscles of the affected area. The protein molecule is taken up by the nerve ending where the nerve and muscle meet. The molecule binds with the nerve ending and prevents it from releasing the neurotransmitter that causes muscle contractions, thus relaxing and paralyzing the muscles causing the fine lines, wrinkles, or spasms.

Other conditions assisted by BOTOX® injections include:

• hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating)
• hemifacial spasms or tic disorders
• spasticity from stroke or neurological disorders
• blepharospasm (eyelids)
• spasmodic torticollis (neck)
• writer’s cramp (forearm)

Since the essential ingredient in BOTOX® is a natural protein made of amino acids, BOTOX® is slowly and naturally absorbed into the body. BOTOX® injections can be repeated, but, with regular treatments, the amount of time between treatments will lengthen. BOTOX® is an inexpensive alternative to surgery that will provide smoother, younger looking skin and can assist people with embarrassing and sometimes painful conditions caused by muscle spasms. Bella Medspa offers the best treatments with BOTOX Philadelphia residents can receive. Injections of BOTOX Philadelphia area residents can trust are offered in the Bella Medspa offices located in Chester Springs, Harrisburg*, Lancaster, Newtown (Bucks County), and Rittenhouse Square (Philadelphia) locations.

* BOTOX® injections for hyperhydrosis currently not offered at the Harrisburg location.

Botox Injections

Botox injections are a very effective and non-invasive procedure of minimizing aging lines and wrinkles without going under the knife. Botox works by paralyzing the muscles found in your problem areas that lead to wrinkles. Popular injection sites for women include around the mouth and eyes, the forehead, nose and lips. Keep in mind, this is not a permanent solution, such treatments can last anywhere between three to 6 months before the procedure has to be repeated again.

Not only are Botox injections effective and non-invasive in treating aging lines and wrinkles, but the procedure is also very affordable, considering the alternative being a facelift that costs thousands of dollars. At the Botox Rittenhouse Square location in Philadelphia, cost is dependent on the number of units of Botox used on the problem areas. “Botulinum Toxin Type A” is the medical name for the substance commonly known as “Botox.” Botox is used in treating facial wrinkles and in some other medical procedures. When botox is injected into the facial muscles, the product paralyzes the muscles and prevents them from contracting. Botox is generally used to treat muscle spasms in the face, twitching eyelids, excessive perspiration, droopy eyes and facial wrinkles.

Treating Wrinkles With Botox

The muscles that control frowning, smiling and other facial expressions are the ones that most commonly receive botox injections. In fact, they are the same muscles that cause crows feet and wrinkles between the eyes. Since the muscles stop contracting after the treatment, the skin doesn’t develop wrinkles. Any wrinkles that may have been present soften up and become less noticeable within days of the injections. A new dose of botox will be required within three to four months to maintain the look you desire. Patients who keep up with a good injection schedule can see results that last up to six months. Once the treatments are discontinued, the nerve cells regenerate within a few months and behave as usual.

Botox Can Reduce Frown Lines

If you already have frown lines across your brow, Botox injections will lessen their appearance. After a treatment with botulinum, the muscles in your forehead will become paralyzed and will stop contracting. Because the muscles no longer contract, the lines don’t get worse. Within a week or two, the skin will smooth out and lose the wrinkles that were formed previously. As you continue the treatments, you’ll notice your old wrinkles become less visible with time.

Overuse of the treatments can lead to developing antibodies that block the effects. Other side effects include bruising and tenderness at the injection site. It’s important to consult with your physician to see how often you should receive the injections. Only trust a qualified doctor to give you botulinum treatments. DO YOUR FOREHEAD WRINKLES MAKE YOU LOOK ANGRY OR WORRIED?

A persistent angry or worried look can be caused by knitting the brows or pulling the eyebrows together when we concentrate, frown, or focus. Fortunately, this condition can easily be remedied with Botulinum Toxin A in the form of Botox. The goal is to relax the muscles that work to create our angry or worried expressions. Too much relaxation of too many facial muscles is not a good thing, but relaxing certain overworked facial muscles allows us to look rested and more contented.

As enhancement to your botox results, consider fillers for fixed lines and wrinkles. Juvederm and Restylane may be used to reduce the appearance of static lines acquired as a result of age and harmful environmental factors. These fillers successfully replenish bony structures and add volume to withered lips and deflated smiles.

Some of the Many Benefits of Botox:

  • BOTOX weakens the muscles responsible for squinting and crinkling of the eye area, effectively reducing or eliminating crow’s feet and other wrinkles around the eyes.
  • Botox removes wrinkles from the area between the eyes dramatically changing a person’s appearance from one of continual anger or sadness to one of contentment and rejuvenation.
  • Botox can be used to relax overworked facial muscles that have formed permanent creases in the skin, resulting in smoother skin and fewer wrinkles.
  • Patients with oversized masseter muscles, the muscles of the jaw used for chewing, can be treated with BOTOX injections to reduce the size of the masseter muscles, resulting in a gently curved cheek and jaw.
  • The benefits of BOTOX injections are not limited to aesthetics. The FDA originally approved BOTOX for several non-cosmetic treatments, including blepharospasm, a condition in which the eyes twitch uncontrollably, migraine headaches, and excessive sweating (Hyperhidrosis)

Aging happens little by little.  Month by month, year by year, the skin and musculature of your face succumbs to the effects of stress, changes in hormones and the sun.  If you are like most women and men, you see your face changing in the mirror.

Often there are one or two specific things you can point to—crow’s feet, age spots, tiny veins around the nose, crepey skin under the eyes—that make you long for the skin you used to see three or five or even ten years ago.

Many of us find that the aging skin we face in the mirror each day just doesn’t match what we feel like inside.  And even if you are vigilant about your diet, exercise and sunscreen, you probably still notice your skin aging.

We at Bella Medspa are thrilled to offer services and skin care products that provide positive natural-looking results to create noticeable changes in the skin of your face.

Chemical and Enzyme Peels—to generally rejuvenate the skin, sloughing off dead skin cells, and providing a healthy and NATURAL glow.  Perfect for an upcoming event holiday event, or just because!

BOTOX Cosmetic Injections—smooth frown lines and crows feet or soften the brow to look more composed, well-rested, upbeat and happy.  Have you tried it?

Dermal FillersJuvederm and Restylane; just a few injections can soften the heavier folds and wrinkles in the face.  Fillers are also used to reduce lip lines and plump the lips, creating a more youthful and sexier mouth.

Latissse—applied nightly for longer, fuller darker lashes.  This is one of the hottest products on the market right now.  Does it work?  YES!

Clinical Skin Care Products—we offer the Obagi and Vivite lines for keeping your skin vibrant and healthy.

Online Medspa Gift Certificates – Bella Medspa Gift Certificates are a perfect gift for friends and family this holiday.

As the Philadelphia Area’s premier provider of laser hair removal for the past three years, we know that our clients want outstanding results and fantastic service.

We cannot wait to be your provider of services and products that will have you marveling at your skin and admiring your reflection.  Whether it’s to ask a question, schedule a consultation or book an appointment, we are always happy to make time for you.  Please feel free to call any time.

BOTOX Cost Philadelphia | Lancaster | Bucks County | Chester Springs | Harrisburg

This post is about how fees for BOTOX injections are traditionally charged and about how we might improve on that traditional method.

All the Medspas that I’m aware of quote a price per unit fee. They will charge you by the amount of BOTOX that is used in the treatment. it sounds fair enough I suppose.

The only problem is that the client is not really buying BOTOX, they are buying the BOTOX treatment. A treatment that requires skill and knowledge to perform well. To charge by the unit makes it appear that they are buying a retail item instead of the service that they are receiving.

Case in point, no one prices Laser Hair Removal by the pulse. And the skill and knowledge required for BOTOX and (especially) Dermal Filler treatments well is much greater. BOTOX treatments are a service, so why do we charge by the unit?

The answer is that everyone else does.

The funny thing is that the price per unit still doesn’t tell you how much the treatment as a whole will cost. And it definitely doesn’t tell you anything about the quality of the treatment you will receive. Ask anyone who has had treatments with more than one practitioner, there is definitely a difference.

That’s why we made sure we were working with the right practitioner before we offered cosmetic injectables. Bethann has trained with some of the best plastic surgeons in the Philadelphia area. You can tell she knows what she is doing as soon as she starts.

Recently a new client who was traveling and needed someone local for a touch up injection came to us. She usually gets her BOTOX treatments in New York and Los Angeles. She told us that Bethann’s treatment was the best she has ever had. No Lie!

So, with all that said, right now we charge $12 per unit, but with our $100 off first treatment special the effective cost per unit becomes $8 or $9 per unit depending on how much is used. And your total fee for treatment will depend on the area to be treated and extent of treatment needed. Soon we may not even quote a per unit price but just stick with the average fees per treatment area posted on our website as guidance to BOTOX cost.
