In 1988, Obagi Nu-Derm became Obagi Medical Products, Inc., in 1997. Headquartered in Long Beach, California, the company sells its proprietary skincare systems to the physician-dispensed skin care market. The Obagi Nu-Derm Difference

As we age, turnover between old damaged skin cells and new healthy cells slow down. More than a topical lotion or cream, the Obagi Nu-Derm System is an anti-aging therapy that transforms the cell function for healthy skin. Nu-Derm works at the cellular level to prevent signs of aging and to correct damaged skin from the inside out. Penetration of the prescription and cosmetic agents are improved due to Obagi’s trademark Penetration Therapeutics technology. The absorbed agents form a barrier across the skin to minimize the affect of hyperpigmentation, premature aging, skin and sun damage, and the signs and symptoms of rosacea. Further, the anti-aging therapy works to improve skin elasticity.

The System consists of approximately six components that prepares, improves, stimulates, protects and complements the skin. Each component contains several products geared toward individually tailoring a program to address a patient’s skincare needs.

Obagi Skin Care Products

Regardless of skin type and condition of your skin, the Nu-Derm System has demonstrated clinically-significant results. In a recent clinical study involving 301 patients, the Nu-Derm System showed 2-3 times greater improvement than any other commonly used stand alone products.
In only 12 weeks, patients with mild to moderate photodamaged skin enjoyed greater improvements in key measures of photodamage, including wrinkles, firmness and hyperpigmentation.

Obagi Nu-Derm Blender® (5)
A topical prescription treatment that will target hyperpigmented (discolored) areas of the skin and increase the penetration of the active ingredients of the system.

Obagi Nu-Derm Sunfader SPF 15 (6)
A topical prescription treatment that helps to protect skin from sun damage, and help correct uneven surface skin color and brown spots.
ELASTIderm is a one of a kind eye treatment. It works to help restore the tightness around your eyes and reduce your visible fine lines and wrinkles.
