Is treatment with JUVEDERM painful?

And, JUVEDERM is injected directly into the skin using a fine needle to reduce injection discomfort. Our practitioner may choose to numb (anesthetize) the treatment area to further minimize discomfort.

How long does treatment usually take?

The injection process itself takes only about 15 minutes. You'll also need to allow time to consult with our practitioner prior to treatment.

Does the correction last forever?

No, JUVEDERM is absorbed into the patient’s body over time. Correction is temporary; therefore, touch-up injections as well as repeat injections are usually needed to maintain optimal corrections.

How long do results last?

What are the possible side effects of JUVEDERM injectable gel?

Most side effects are mild or moderate, and their duration is short lasting (7 days or less). Some of the most common side effects include, but are not limited to, temporary injections site reactions such as redness, pain/tenderness, firmness, swelling, lumps/bumps, bruising, itching, and discoloration. As with all skin injection procedures there is a risk of infection.

Can people with different skin tones/colors be treated with JUVEDERM?
